Hello, my name is Peter. Peter Stanley Tufford. I was born on September 17 1983 to Bruce and Gloria Tufford. I am not an overly exciting person, even though those close to me have stated that I am the most interesting person they’ve met. I am not an overly handsome person either, despite popular opinion as well. (Here he smiles faintly, the corners of his mouth barely moving)
I am a whopping 1,8 metre tall (here he smiles again, this time more), I have thick brown hair, with a bit of a curl in it, and which has a mind of its own. My eyes too have a mind of their own, mostly green, but sometimes with either a tinge of blue or brown in them, depending on their mood.
When I was eight years old, one of my most defining moments occurred. I lost my dear mother in a car accident, and gained an even angrier father. My childhood was okay up until the day my mother died, then it stumbled into a deep spiral until I turned 15 and had The Dream.
I was born in Plymouth, Michigan to a Christian family, of whose religion I have since lost, witnessing the way my ‘Christian’ father drank himself to death…
Now, about me. I am a somewhat serious person, not very talkative, almost always brooding over one thing or another. I don’t usually share my feelings with anyone and am only close with a couple of people. My best friend, Daveon Klein and his twin sister Samantha are very dear to me, like siblings. Except for the fact that I am deeply in love with Sam, but she seems to only see me as a brother. They both are still very religious, and often argue with me about Christians and that not all are the same. They never take it too far and have only invited me to church a couple of times in the 24 years I’ve known them. When I was twelve I found my father in his chair after I spent a weekend over at the Kleins, with vomit on his beard and not a single breath left in his lungs… Instead of letting me end up in foster care, Mr and Mrs Klein, Daveon and Sam’s parents took it upon themselves to be my legal guardians.
